Fastest to market

Private Label (ODM)

For: retailers and scaling e-commerce brands launching a range

Start from our library of 100,000+ market-tested formulas across skincare, body, and hair, then make it yours with custom packaging, fragrance, and claims. Because the formula is already proven and stable, this is the fastest route to market — built for retailers and growing e-commerce brands launching a range rather than testing a single micro-batch.

  • 100,000+ proven, market-tested formulas
  • Custom packaging, fragrance, and claims
  • About 4–6 weeks to production

Custom OEM & Turnkey Development

For: established brands building an exclusive formula they own

  • 100% custom formula developed from your brief
  • Raw-material sourcing, stability & safety testing, full production

Why Brands
Choose
Ausmetics

A few things separate a manufacturer that can win a retail audit from one that can't — the science behind the formula, the compliance behind the label, and the consistency behind every reorder.

Named scientific leadership

Our R&D is led by people with global track records, not anonymous "labs." Dr. Phillip Cronk, our chief formula expert and CEO of Terrapharma Australia, holds a PhD from the University of New South Wales and led development of Johnson & Johnson's baby and personal care, the Skin Doctor series, Clarins sunscreen, Cetaphil, and the full ULTRACEUTICALS cosmeceutical range. Dr. Jadir Nunes, our CTO, holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science and Cosmetology from the University of São Paulo, brings more than 35 years of experience including 14 years at Johnson & Johnson and 5 at GSK, and served as Chairman of the IFSCC in 2013–2014. At the 2025 IFSCC Congress in Cannes, our team presented a Jelly Multi-Shield Sunscreen built on triple-phase oil-in-water-in-oil encapsulation — SPF 50, PA++++, with over 90% blue-light protection from rutin and astaxanthin — alongside a barrier-repair cream for sensitive skin.

Multi-market regulatory support

Selling globally means clearing different gates. We support your FDA facility registration and MoCRA product listing for the US, your CPSR and Product Information File for the EU under Regulation 1223/2009, Halal certification for Indonesia, Malaysia, and the GCC, and BPOM dossiers for Southeast Asia — providing the documentation you need rather than issuing it for you. Every raw material carries an MSDS, COA, and inspection report, and we source from named houses including BASF, Givaudan, Symrise, DSM, Seppic, AkzoNobel, and IFF.

Audit-ready quality control

Quality is run here, not promised. We operate four in-house laboratories — microbiology, physico-chemical, QA, and a microbial-challenge lab that pressure-tests preservative systems against mixed pathogens. Production follows a 15-step SOP Cosmetics Production with inspection at every stage, from incoming raw materials and packaging through semi-finished and finished-product microbiological testing, all tracked through ERP. That system is what lets us pass the factory audits of partners like IKEA and Kmart and keep quality consistent across millions of units.

Clean, sustainable formulation

Vegan formulas are available, and we can formulate free from parabens, sulphates, silicones, SLS/SLES, and palm oil, with cruelty-free options. We source PCR and biodegradable packaging, and treat our own wastewater through both physical and biological degradation. See our quality assurance.

People-first workplace and community

How a supplier treats its own people has become part of what brands are audited on, not a soft extra. Our Sedex/SMETA audit covers the labor standards, health and safety, and business ethics that retail buyers review before they place an order — and we hold ourselves to more than the checklist asks. We recognize our team with gifts at major holidays and look after them through year-round staff welfare, and we make regular donations to local animal shelters. For retail partners who hold their suppliers to a code of conduct, it means the people making your products are looked after, and that the company behind your label carries its values past the factory and into the community.

The most dangerous moment for a growing beauty brand is the jump from boutique batches to mass production from 500 units to 50,000. In the age of social media, consistency is your reputation: one viral "bad batch" post about a runny texture, an off scent, or a color that doesn't match last time can undo years of brand equity overnight. The questions are real will the factory cut corners on ingredients, will the actives still be stable after six months in a warehouse, and will the product on the shelf actually match the one you approved in the lab?

Here's
what a low price can hide: a factory that fills just 1,000–3,000 pieces a run can't justify the automated lines, in-line QC, and stability testing that hold quality steady at scale. A lower minimum looks cheaper until one inconsistent batch turns into a retail chargeback or a delisting. Our 5,000–10,000 pcs production scale exists to remove that risk.

Our Solution — Precision, Protection, and Partnership

We bridge artisanal-level quality and industrial-scale consistency, so the millionth unit is indistinguishable from the first. Three protections make that real:

The Golden Sample Standard

The pre-production sample you approve becomes the immutable Golden Sample for the entire run. Our automated filling lines and in-line QC inspections ensure the 100,000th unit matches the 1st in texture, color, and viscosity — no quality fade.

Collaborative Pre-production Reviews

Getting that sample right is something we do with you. Before mass production begins, we evaluate and perfect color, texture, and performance together, so any discrepancy or instability is caught and corrected early — whether it's a limited edition or a core range.

Formula Stability Assurance

Our experts run accelerated stability and safety tests on every formulation, so colors don't fade, emulsions don't separate, and textures hold throughout the product's shelf life. And the ingredients are never where we economize: every raw material is documented and traceable, with COA and MSDS from named suppliers.

Global compliance

Exporting to 30+ Countries,
Compliant in Every Market.

We ship to more than 30 countries, and every order leaves with the standard documents we issue — MSDS, COA, and inspection reports — while we support the additional documentation each market requires. Our export experience spans:

We support Halal, BPOM, vegan, and cruelty-free programs for the markets and retailers that require them.

Restricted-substance screening

Every formula is screened against each market's restricted-substance lists and major retailer clean-beauty programs. Our prohibited list is summarized below.

Because we export across North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, every formula is screened against the restricted-substance lists of each market — EU Regulation 1223/2009 (Annexes II and III), the US FDA, Canada's Cosmetic Ingredient Hotlist, the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive, and Gulf GSO standards — as well as major retailer clean-beauty programs such as the Clean at Sephora standard, and IFRA limits for fragrance. Our prohibited list includes, among others:

Parabens - Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butyl and Propyl
parabens
Phthalates and fragrance allergens - Butylphenyl Methylpropional
Formaldehyde and releasers - Formaldehyde, DMDM Hydantoin, Imidazolidinyl Urea
Plastics, microplastics and endocrine disruptors - PE, PET, BPA, PFAS, Polyacrylamide
Other preservatives - MIT, CMIT, Chloromethylisothiazolinone, IPBC, PHMB
Mineral oils and petrolatum - Paraffinum Liquidum, Hydrocarbons
C3-4
Sulphates and harsh surfactants - SLS, SLES, Ammonium Lauryl
Sulfate
Strong alkalis and pH adjusters - Sodium Hydroxide, Potassium Hydroxide
Other restricted - Talc, PVC, natural rubber latex, Zinc Pyrithione, Ethylhexyl Palmitate

Client Success Across
Retail and E-commerce

The clearest proof of a manufacturer is whether clients come back. Across face, body, and hair care, our retail and e-commerce partners reorder season after season. Here are three of the kinds of programs we run.

Supermarket and department-store retail

We manufacture private-label skincare and body care for Kmart — the Australian retail icon that opened the country's first discount department store in 1969 and now runs 200+ stores across Australia and New Zealand with around 30,000 staff. Programs at this scale demand strict audit standards, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery across large volumes, which is the core of our high-volume capability.

Health and beauty pharmacy chains

For Guardian, Malaysia's leading health and beauty chain serving around 33 million customers a month across nearly 500 stores, and for Mannings, Hong Kong's largest health and beauty chain with 350+ outlets, we develop and reorder personal-care lines that meet multi-market compliance and exacting retail quality requirements.

E-commerce and DTC brands

For Amazon and direct-to-consumer brands, our 100,000+ formula library and 80 million+ units a year mean fast restocks and stable, repeatable quality — so founders keep best-sellers in stock and listings live while they focus on marketing and channels.

From Brief to Delivery
in Seven Steps

Whether you start from a ready formula or a custom one, the path is the same — and we reply to a new brief within 24 hours.

1

Brief & feasibility

Share concept, market, claims, target volume, and budget. We confirm fit and quote.

2

Formula

Three ways to land on the right formula:

•Start from a ready formula — choose from our 100,000+ market-tested formulas and adjust scent, actives, and packaging.

•Develop a custom formula — our chemists build it from your brief, and you own the result.

•Reverse-engineer a reference — send us a product you admire and we match its texture, performance, and finish in a formula of your own.

Your brief and formula stay confidential throughout.

3

Design & packaging

We help you choose the containers and packaging that fit your brand, and flag what's production-feasible before you commit.

4

Sample & sign-off

We send physical samples to trial in your own market. The sample you approve becomes your Golden Sample — the locked standard for the entire production run.

5

Manufacturing & filling

Your order is produced and filled on our Class 100,000 GMPC line, then packed retail-ready. See how we produce cosmetics.

6

Quality check & inspection

In-line and finished-product checks confirm every batch matches your approved Golden Sample.

7

Delivery & reorder

Your order ships with the standard documents we issue — such as MSDS, COA, and inspection reports — and we support the additional, market-specific documentation you may need. Because your formula and Golden Sample are on file, reorders are fast and identical to the first run.

How to Choose a Cosmetics Contract Manufacturer

Before you commit to any manufacturer — including us — these four checks matter most. We've written a full guide on each.

•Certifications, audits, and market compliance. Will the factory pass your retail audit? Look for ISO 22716, GMP, a current FDA registration, and Sedex/SMETA — plus support for your market's rules like EU CPSR, Halal, and BPOM — and ask to audit the site before you commit.
→ How to choose the right OEM cosmetics manufacturer

•R&D and formulation capability. Can they develop a stable, compliant formula — even the hard clean and natural ones that have to pass microbial-challenge testing?
5 natural & organic formulation challenges, solved

•A clear development path and realistic timeline. A strong partner maps the full idea-to-shelf journey — usually 5–12 months — and has a track record with brands at your stage of growth.
→ The cosmetic product development process, idea to shelf

•The right model for your goals. Private label for speed and lower complexity, or custom OEM and ODM for an exclusive formula you own.
